Equal Entry’s mission is to increase access to youth sports by providing financial assistance to those of limited means.
-
Youth sports provide more than just exercise: they build lifelong skills and opportunities for growth. Playing sports helps children develop teamwork, leadership, discipline, and resilience, all while building confidence and friendships. Research shows that kids involved in sports are more likely to stay active, perform better in school, and develop strong social skills.
-
For many families, the benefits go beyond the field: sports create a safe and supportive community where children can learn healthy habits, discover their potential, and feel a sense of belonging. At Equal Entry, we believe every child deserves the chance to access these opportunities, regardless of financial barriers. Together, we’re not just funding sports, we’re investing in healthier, stronger, and more connected communities.
-
Youth sports can come with a lot of hidden costs - registration fees, travel fees, equipment costs and many more. To help ensure we are covering all our bases, Equal Entry Grants provide one part directly to the school as well as some money directly to the family.
-
We use a simple and fair standard to make sure our support reaches families who need it most. Equal Entry covers any student who qualifies for the National Free and Reduced Lunch Program, as confirmed by our partner schools.
This approach ensures that assistance goes directly to children from families with financial need, without requiring parents to complete a lengthy or complicated application process. By relying on an established and widely recognized program, we can focus on what matters most—helping kids get on the field and into the game.

Equal Entry is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to transparency and compliance with our mission. More information on our legal status, tax filings, and other relevant documentation can be found here.
